Business Card Generator QR Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Summary
Your cards are stored only on your device and there is no account. The app has no server of its own and only contacts RevenueCat to manage the subscription. Links on your card open only when someone taps them.
This policy covers the Business Card Generator QR app for iPhone and iPad, published by mk0.net, an independent app studio. It is written from what the app actually does in its code. Questions: hello@mk0.net.
What we receive
Nothing. We have no accounts or servers for this app, so your entries never reach us.
What stays on your device
- Your cards, including contact details, social links, logo and design settings, are stored on this device.
- Files you export, such as vCards, are created on this device before you share them.
- Settings are stored on this device.
We cannot see this data. It is not uploaded to us.
Permissions the app may ask for
- Photos: Asked when you pick a logo from your library, or when you save a QR code or card image to Photos.
- NFC: Used when you choose to write your card to an NFC tag.
- Notifications: Asked if you turn on optional daily tips, which are scheduled on the device.
Every permission is optional and can be changed later in the iPhone Settings app. Features that need a permission you decline simply stay unavailable.
Data that leaves your device
The app talks to the following services. Each receives only what is listed, and only for the purpose shown.
- RevenueCat (subscription management): Only when you view plans, buy, restore or check a subscription: an anonymous app user ID and your App Store purchase status. Your card details are never sent. Their privacy policy.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, card or payment details. The app checks your subscription status through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous ID and your purchase status, not your identity.
Ads, tracking and analytics
No ads, no analytics, no tracking across apps, and we never sell your data.
Account
No account needed.
Children
Business Card Generator QR is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Keeping and deleting your data
Delete any card inside the app. You can export a JSON backup in Settings first. Deleting the app removes all its local data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or KVKK), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Because the app keeps your records on your own device, you can do most of this directly in the app or by deleting it. For anything else, or for data held by a service listed above, email hello@mk0.net and we will help within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date below before the change ships.
