How do I add a countdown to the Lock Screen?
Touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, and add a Kala widget. You can also start a Live Activity from a countdown.
Why does Kala ask for calendar access?
Only when you tap add to calendar. The app uses it to create the event and does nothing else with your calendar.
How do I move my countdowns to a new iPhone?
There is no iCloud sync. Export a JSON file from the export screen and import it on the new device.
Can I repeat a countdown every month?
Yearly repeats are free. Daily, weekly and monthly repeats need a subscription.
How do I restore my subscription on a new or reset iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, open the app's Settings screen or the paywall and tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription comes back. Your app data does not, unless you restore a backup.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose this app. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

How do I ask for a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in and choose the purchase.
