Calorie Tracker: NutriLog Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Summary
Your food diary and health logs are stored on your device. When you scan a barcode or search online, only that barcode or search text is sent to Open Food Facts. RevenueCat handles subscriptions.
This policy covers the Calorie Tracker: NutriLog app for iPhone and iPad, published by mk0.net, an independent app studio. It is written from what the app actually does in its code. Questions: hello@mk0.net.
What we receive
Nothing. We have no accounts or servers for this app.
What stays on your device
- Your meals, foods, water, weight, mood, sleep, workouts, journal entries, goals and settings are stored on this device.
- Meal photos you attach are stored on this device.
- Widgets and the Apple Watch app share a summary with the app on the same device or your paired Watch.
- Reports and export files are created only when you ask for them.
We cannot see this data. It is not uploaded to us.
Permissions the app may ask for
- Camera: Asked when you scan a food barcode or take a meal photo.
- Photos: Asked when you pick a meal photo from your library.
- Face ID: Only if you turn on app lock, to unlock the app.
- Notifications: Optional. Used for meal and water reminders, scheduled on your device.
Every permission is optional and can be changed later in the iPhone Settings app. Features that need a permission you decline simply stay unavailable.

Apple Health data is never used for advertising and never leaves your device through this app.
Health data is used only to provide the app's features. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and you can change access at any time in the Health app.
Data that leaves your device
The app talks to the following services. Each receives only what is listed, and only for the purpose shown.
- Open Food Facts (food search and barcode lookup): Only when you scan a barcode or use online food search: the barcode number or the text you typed. No personal identifiers are sent. Their privacy policy.
- RevenueCat (subscription management): Used to handle your subscription: an anonymous user ID, purchase and subscription status, and basic device and app information. Their privacy policy.
Sensitive information
NutriLog can show sensitive health data such as blood glucose, blood pressure, sleep and menstrual flow, and you can write a private journal. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can lock the app with Face ID.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, card or payment details. The app checks your subscription status through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous ID and your purchase status, not your identity.
Ads, tracking and analytics
No ads, no tracking across apps or websites, and no data is sold. The app contains no analytics SDK.
Account
No account needed.
Children
Calorie Tracker: NutriLog is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Keeping and deleting your data
Settings lets you export all your logs to a file, import them again, and delete everything. Deleting the app removes all of its data from this device. Data already saved to Apple Health stays in Health.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or KVKK), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Because the app keeps your records on your own device, you can do most of this directly in the app or by deleting it. For anything else, or for data held by a service listed above, email hello@mk0.net and we will help within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date below before the change ships.
